1. How do I book in?

You can book easily online through the Book Now link on the website. If you’re unsure where to start, contact us directly and we’ll guide you through the best option either call on 0420 334 484 or info@moveyoupilates.com

 

2. Where are you located and where to park?

3. What is the difference between private, semi private or circuit?

Private 1:1 – Working one-to-one with a certified instructor who will guide you through a tailored program for your body and goals.

Semi-Private 4:1 - Personalised programs in a shared session of maximum 4 people

Circuit Classes 6:1 One program, multiple stations designed to challenge strength, stability, and endurance while maintaining the precision and control of Pilates.

All sessions are guided by a certified instructor who ensures correct form and progression.

 

4. Do I need an initial assessment?

Yes, all new clients and especially anyone new to Pilates is to start with a Movement Assessment. It allows us to understand your body, movement patterns, and any injuries before creating a program that suits you best.

 

5. What should I wear and bring to class?

Wear comfortable activewear that allows freedom of movement. Grippy socks are required for safety and hygiene (available for purchase at the studio). We provide all equipment - just bring water, a towel and an open mind

 

6. Can Pilates help with injury or rehabilitation?

Absolutely. Pilates is widely recommended by physiotherapists for recovery, mobility, and strength. Please let us know about any injuries and our instructors will adapt exercises to suit your needs.

7. How often should I do Pilates?

Consistency is key. Most clients feel noticeable results attending 2–3 times per week. Even one session a week can improve body awareness and posture.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all clients. If a late cancellation or no show occurs, the full fee will be charged or one of your classes will be deducted from your Pack or AutoPay Pack. This allows up to maintain small class sizes and respect instructor time.

 

9. Do we offer student or senior discounts?

Yes, we offer 10% off selected casual and pack options. Please bring valid ID when purchasing in-studio.

10. What is Pilates?

Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, this intelligent system which he called at the time Contrology was designed to improve strength, mobility, posture, over all wellbeing.

Using specialised equipment and mat-based techniques, Pilates offers a full-body, low-impact workout suitable for all ages and fitness levels - helping you move with greater ease, confidence, and connection. Pilates is not just a series of exercises but it is a way of life.
